Sign/Marquee

The original Fox “Flag” or “Blade” sign was removed in the mid-1980’s. At this time, the triangular marquee, a 1940 replacement for the original rectangular marquee, was also removed. Following many months of research and design, a re-created original rectangular marquee and “FOX” flag sign were re-installed in June of 2002. These elements were created by Tucson sign company Fluoresco, and have been lit every Friday and Saturday night ever since, They have become a beacon downtown, and a sign of things to come with the re-opened Fox.
