Tile Restoration/Recreation

The decorative ceramic tile at the entrance to the Fox dates from the original theatre construction, in 1929. Luckily, some of the original tile was preserved under modern finishes. The Tucson firm of Santa Theresa Tileworks was given the job of recreating the missing tile. They worked for months getting the glaze colors exactly the same as the original tile, copied the original designs and manufactured the tile to be re-installed in the entryway.
