What is the Fox Performance Partners program?
The Fox Tucson Theatre reopened in 2006 as the premiere performance space in Tucson. The historic theatre is equipped with the most up-to-date theatrical and technical equipment available for superb arts programming. The Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation strongly believes that the theatre is a resource to be enjoyed by the entire community. For this reason, the “Fox Performance Partners” grant program has been established to encourage local non-profit performing arts groups to perform in the Fox.

This incubator program will help organizations to perform in a fantastic space, while growing an audience. The chosen grant applicants will be given in-kind services and incentives that will enable them to create successful programming in a venue they may not otherwise be able to afford.

In the first year a grantee will enjoy free rent and free use of the sound and light systems. In the second year of participation an organization will be asked to pay the standard non-profit rental rate for theatre while still using the house sound and lights with no charge. By the third year the Foundation hopes that the participants will be able to pay all standard use fees at the Fox. In this way they can become a permanent member of the Fox family.
